Cole Insurance Agents & Brokers Ltd. commenced business in September 2002 with Denis, Peter & Brock Cole as the principals. Their experience goes back to 1966 when Denis started insurance training in the UK and in 1968 he joined Peter Cole & Associates Ltd. which was the insurance agency started in 1953 by their father, F.L. Peter Cole. Peter had similar insurance training in the UK and joined the firm in 1969, followed by Brock in 1978. In 1992 they formed a local insurance company, Allied Bahamas Insurance Co. Ltd., and in 1998, along with several other local agents, merged with the Bahamas First Group. In 2002 Denis, Peter & Brock left the Bahamas First Group to form Cole Insurance and continue as independent insurance agents & brokers in the Bahamas. Together they lead a team of agents and brokers that combine integrity and experience to ensure that their customers get the most suitable, affordable coverage.
